What is Habitat for Humanity all about?

Habitat for Humanity builds simple,  energy efficient, affordable homes for low income families. In 2008 our 300,000th Habitat home was built in Naples, Florida. Today more than 800,000 homes have been built or repaired helping more than 4 million people  around the world. With the generous donations from large corporations such as Lowe's and General Motors, and the help from local volunteers like yourself, we have been able to help many low income families own a home they can be proud of.
